Rules For User Writings.

Taken from Cana on WQ just with a few differences.


The stories posted on this forum should portray wolves in a natural and at least mostly accurate way. If you have any questions regarding what is/isn’t allowed in your story that are not included on these rules, please ask Myself or another mod or admin before posting.

What is allowed:
• Speech ("talking" wolves)
• Generic landscapes
• Brown, black, white, orange, and grey fur colors
• Human appearance from a wolf’s perspective, as a minimal background role
• Realistic past or future times (no Earth-ruling wolves, etc.)
• More than one story submission, as long as they’re on separate posts
• Humans may come into the story, but it is best not to have much of that.

What is not allowed:
• Magic and healing powers
• Unrealistic eye and fur colors (blue, green, purple, red, etc.)
• Unrealistic fur markings (stars, pentagrams, crosses, etc.)
• Negative or unrealistic human contact (including hunters)
• Unrealistic actions (wolves flying, one wolf killing a herd of elk, super-strength, etc.)
• War, long pack fights, pupkillers, mass killing, evilness, etc.
• Elemental wolves, werewolves, wolf spirits, etc.
• Religious reference (angels, demons, etc.)
• Anything that’s not a wolf as the main character (no dogs or wolf-dogs)

If your story does not follow these guidelines, a moderator may send you a note to change your story. If your entire story is based on what is not allowed or you do not change the story to follow the guidelines, your story may be locked or trashed.
